A first-of-its-kind initiative to deeply understand the lives of makers, artisans, and micro-manufacturers in the city of Memphis and Shelby County. With our intimate knowledge of individuals who use skill or craft to create physical goods for sale on a small-scale, we are building an economic development plan that fosters a vibrant, thriving, and inclusive community for this dynamic group of entrepreneurs. In partnership with EPIcenter, the implementation of this plan will close gaps in the maker network and prepare makers to scale to meet the growing demand for handcrafted and small-batch products.
